5⭐ Zhongs, New location. Good Chinese Food. Nice Eat In Restaurant and Sports Bar. TV's all around. Keno here. Great Owner and Staff. Fast, Friendly Service. Fresh food cooked when ordered. We like there Pu Pu Platter for 2). We special order all white meat Chicken Tender's are Delicious. Instead of Chicken Nuggets. Not sure why Nuggets in a pu pu platter. But Everything else was good. We like their Fried Rice made fresh and Taste Good. Their Wonton Soup. Just makes you feel better. Just Delish, A Wonderful Family owned business. 5 Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Eat in or Call Ahead for Pick up. Quite a gem of a Chinese restaurant, especially considering the location in suburban Merrimack. They have all of the regular crowd pleasers along with some pretty authentic Sichuan and Cantonese dishes. I have tried the "Beef Tripe with Green Peppers, Onions & Black Bean Sauce" and "Szechuan Bean Curd" (what is known at many places as "Ma Po Doufu"). Both were very good, although the Ma Po came very mild. I have to think they are catering to the American palate, but it's all good because they provide every table with a large vat of amazing chili oil that can be added to any dish to give it a good kick!

It was my first time visiting Zhongs' new location in Merrimack, and wow, I was blown away! The family atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the new setup is absolutely stunning from the original location. But what truly made my experience unforgettable was the incredible service from Demi. She went above and beyond to make the visit special, offering a personable and friendly experience that is rare to find.
Food is good, but it depends on what you order. Lo mein, fried rice and beef were good, but some of the chicken dishes aren’t as great because the chicken is pretty tough. usually closed Tuesdays, I don’t think they state that anywhere other than the sign out front and on the door so online hours may not always be accurate. Not the fanciest place but if you want some decent food it’s worth a try for sure. Always friendly staff!
Update June 22, 2024. This is their last day of opening after 10 years, and our second time back after 3 years. We should have come back more. The food is still great. The price is still super reasonable. I wish all the best of the staff at Zhong's and may their future endeavors be successful! Authentic southern Chinese food here. Excellent selection of dimsums and main dishes. Menu includes American Chinese dishes as well. Outside dining during covid-19. Server was very friendly and comfortable.
